Dino Merlin's long-awaited concert spectacle in Belgrade announced at the beginning of this year has now officially been confirmed! The wizard returns to the Serbian capital after eight years, on Saturday, November 18th at Štark Arena.
The audience is delighted, social networks are ablaze with comments and everyone wants to be a part of the "Mi" world tour which has thus far proven to be a true record-breaker.
The autumn leg of the “Mi” world tour starts in Belgrade and thus continues the tradition of making autumn a witness to the times unfolding and strengthening the unique bond Dino Merlin shares with his audience. Dino and his audience are bound together by threads rarely seen, inexhaustible energy and trust.
This artist's previous concerts in the region have steadily been raising the bar year after year both in terms of production standards and the growing number of people who eagerly await the concerts and in turn attend in record numbers.
There is no other performer in the region who can sell out such grandiose venues so quickly without a single promotional poster or advertisement. The famous Pula Arena was sold out overnight this summer and in Zagreb, three Arenas in a row were sold out in less than four days.
Considering the number of concerts held in arenas all over Europe, as well as the number of fans and the record times in which he sells them out, Dino’s name will without question be enshrined in the history books of the pop music industry in this part of the world.
This performance will mark Dino’s third visit to Belgrade, and his sixth rendezvous overall with the Belgrade audience over the last 12 years.
The previous visit was part of the "Hotel Nacional" world tour in October 2015 when Dino performed at the Belgrade Arena two nights in a row, while the first time was part of the "Ispočetka" world tour in 2011 when Dino famously sold out three back-to-back "Arenas" in a row.
In addition to the latest hit singles and fan-favourite songs from his rich forty-year career, the audience will have the opportunity to hear some of his well-known hits live for the first time in new arrangements, while the visual aesthetics, special stage effects and the highest production standards will undoubtedly contribute to the superb musical magic which has long been the staple of any and all concerts by this singer-songwriter.
